Shelley Lowenstein is a narrative figurative painter whose colorful work has appeared in multiple solo and group shows in her prior home of Washington DC where she was honored as one of the area’s most influential women artists. She has received numerous art grants and her work is held in the DC Art Bank and private collections. Moving “home” to Connecticut creates opportunities to paint old memories as new.
